From a single site, we operate four distinct ventures: Southland’s largest limestone quarry, a Blending Plant, the regional landfill, and a 950 cow dairy farm. About the Role We are seeking a Quarry Operator to join our team. Experience in quarrying or mining is an advantage but not essential. We are ready to invest in training the right person who brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will learn to operate a range of plant, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Operate heavy machinery including loaders, excavators, dump trucks, dozers, surface miner, and forklifts • Run the lime mill and crushing plant to produce lime and knaprock • Carry out maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep of vehicles, plant, and work areas. What You Will Bring • A strong commitment to health and safety • Initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn • A valid Class 2 driver’s licence • Good physical fitness • Experience operating heavy machinery (preferred but not required).
