Career growth into surveying, repair, machine operating, or truck driving * $24.50 p/h | Weekly Pay * 7am - 5pm Mon to Fri 7 & 1/2 day Sat | 55+ hours p/w * Based in Onehunga, Auckland We are seeking physically fit, hands-on individuals to join our team in Onehunga/Penrose. You'll restore metal boxes related to food/transport-grade standards using a variety of tools and equipment. This is an active role, with a mix of outdoor and workshop-based work. Positions Available: 5 Location: Onehunga, Auckland Pay Rate: $24.50/hour - Weekly Pay Cycle Shift: Monday to Friday + every other Saturday | 50+ hours Hours: Mon to Fri 7 am - 5 pm & Sat 7 am - 12 pm Key Responsibilities: * Refurbishing metal work to strict quality standards * Work outdoors in all weather conditions * Cleaning works * Use hand and power tools: drills, angle grinders, sanders, and wire brushes * Recoat using commercial spray painting machines Career Growth Opportunities Successful candidates may develop into roles across three main divisions: * Surveying: Assess and recommend refurbishment requirements * Repairer: Metalwork and wooden floor repairs, with opportunity for NZ Standard Welding Certification * Machine Operating: Operate large container stackers * Truck Driving: Transporting goods Ideal Candidate * Strong, hands-on, physically fit * Experience with power tools. * Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather * Strong Health & Safety mindset * Reliable with a solid work ethic Minimum Requirements * Driver's Licence * Reliable transport - Must have your own car * MOJ Check * Clean Drug Test * References * NZ Citizen, Residency or Open Work Visa with no conditions Tool Experience is ideal: * Drills * Angle grinders * Wire brushes * Spray painting equipment Apply now with your updated CV.
