This is an excellent entry-point or progression opportunity for registered electrical workers looking to specialise in asset inspection and maintenance. Full training will be provided to ensure you can perform inspections competently and safely. Key Details: * Primary duties will involve checking power poles conducting thorough visual inspections of poles from ground level, checking for external damage such as cracks, splits, weathering, bird/insect damage, leaning, or corrosion on hardware * Identifying and prioritising poles that require maintenance, treatment, reinforcement, or replacement * Ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols when working near live electricity infrastructure * Pay rate: $26-$30 per hour (depending on experience and registration level) Requirements: * Must hold some form of current EWRB registration (e.g., provisional, limited, or full - we welcome applicants at different stages) * Must be able to pass both a Police & Drug Test * Be available for long-term work If you're registered with the EWRB, keen to work outdoors, and want to get trained up quickly for pole inspection work, this is a great opportunity.
