Job Title: Steel Erectors. Location: Lower Hutt. Duration: Ongoing. Job Description: We are seeking skilled Steel Erectors to join our team for long term projects. The successful candidate/s will be responsible for assembling and installing steel frameworks and structures according to specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble and install steel structures and frameworks. - Read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans. - Use hand and power tools to join and install steel components. - Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations. - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time. Key Position Criteria: - Proven experience as a steel erector. - Ability to erect steel. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. - Strong knowledge of steel erection techniques and tools. - Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - MUST pass a drug test. Qualifications: - Certification in steel erection. - Valid safety and lifting certifications are a plus. - Sitesafe. - EWP and Working at Heights would be advantageous.
