This role is ideal for a skilled technician with CO2 (R744) refrigeration experience and a strong electrical background, who enjoys working across a variety of systems and environment. About the role You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on CO2 technology. The role will involve field-based work across commercial and transport refrigeration applications. Benefits * Competitive remuneration based on experience * Stable, long-term employment with a reputable company * Ongoing training and development Duties * Primarily service and maintain transport refrigeration systems, with occasional support across commercial or HVAC servicing as required * Service, maintain, and repair CO2 refrigeration systems * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults * Install and commission new refrigeration equipment * Work safely with high-pressure refrigeration systems * Complete job documentation and communicate effectively with clients * Ensure all work meets health, safety, and compliance standards Skills & experience * Proven experience as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician * Hands-on CO2 refrigeration experience (essential) * Current electrical licence (or eligible for NZ recognition) * Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Transport refrigeration experience highly desirable Applicants for this role must have New Zealand working rights, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
