Opportunity for an experienced, confident installer with leadership skills Description We are looking for an experienced member to join our growing team, starting January 2026. We are a Porirua based company which specialise in heatpumps and air conditioning in the residential and light commercial sector. This position will include leading jobs and installing heatpumps and air conditioning systems as well as carrying out maintenance checks on heatpumps. The ideal candidate would be a confident installer with a few years experience in a wide rage of service work in air conditioning and refrigeration who can hit the ground running. Key qualities: *Be reliable and honest *Leadership skills *Fit and energetic with a can-do attitude *Good time management and communication skills *Have exceptional health and safety standards *Take pride in your work Requirements: *Have proven / established experience in the HVAC industry. *Must be able to install heatpumps and heating/cooling systems as part of a team and lead if required. *Carry out service & maintenance work on heatpumps or air conditioning systems without direct supervision. *Must be prepared to hit the ground running and do overtime *Interact well with customers and other team members. *Must have NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency, a clean driver’s license and be prepared to undergo Ministry of Justice checks *Must be willing to undergo random drug testing Would help to have: *EST license *Working at Heights qualification *Diagnostic and repair skills/experience
