1995 Mazda E2000 LWB

For sale as is where is a classic 1995 CI Munro Pop Top on 1995 LWB Mazda E2200. In use up until failed WOF late 2023 because of some rust in the side of the roof under the fibreglass top. The top blew off in high winds recently because I left the holding down straps undone. The top is intact but needs reattaching. Had a quote for around $3000 to repair rust. The van runs extremely well, will tow a tandem car trailer, but down to low gear on hills. Fair/good condition inside, everything is still in place and it will be a good project for someone to restore to its original condition. These vans were custom built with dinette converting to double bed, galley bench with sink and gas stove top, water tanks and pump, gray water outlet to wheeled holding tank as per the photo. I'm advised that the van could probably be made self contained with installation of a fixed toilet seat with a portable toilet underneath. Wired for 240volt power, needs inspection for use with caravan extension cord. Also for an extra $750 I will include an as is, where is, substantially intact 1995 LWB Mazda E2200 that I bought for parts. Not registered but runs OK. This has all the instruments and running gear, lights etc., only missing the two rear lights which have been used on the main vehicle. I'm selling the van as I have upgraded to a larger caravan. I was going to repair the van but have too many other projects on the go. So, a chance for someone else to restore this iconic NZ Camper to its full useful condition.
