Excavator Operator
We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support daily landfill operations. The ideal candidate can operate additional heavy equipment as needed and takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and collaboratively as part of a hardworking team in a fast-paced outdoor environment. What You’ll Do: * Safely operate excavators for digging, shaping, grading, waste placement, and cover application. * Operate loaders for material movement and daily landfill support tasks. * Operate other equipment such as compactors and dump trucks when required. * Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. * Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment. * Work closely with the site team to ensure efficient daily operations. What We’re Looking For: * C4 WTR certification * Strong experience with excavators and loaders * Ability to operate compactors and dump trucks is an advantage. * Able to work Sunday–Thursday starting at 7:30 AM. * Comfortable working in a smoke-free environment * Able to pass a drug test and Ministry of Justice checks. * Reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. Job Description: As a Kitchen Assistant for our Trentham village, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen’s day-to-day operations. Your support will help ensure our chefs can deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to our residents and visitors. From assisting with food prep to keeping the kitchen clean and organised, you’ll make a big difference behind the scenes – and you’ll be appreciated for it. Community Support Worker - Upper Hutt
**Community Support Worker - Residential** Part-time - 24 hours per week $23.50 - $29.10 per hour Location: Hudson - Upper Hutt, Wellington We have recently opened a new home in Upper Hutt, and we’re looking for an amazing staff team to work with 2 young men and 1 woman ranging in age from 19 to 30. We currently have 2x Part-Time positions available at 24 hours per week. The 3 flatmates have loving and supportive families, who continue to be very involved in their kids' lives, so as well as building trust with the flatmates, you’ll need to build trust with families too. You will work closely with them to support the flatties to live their best lives. You will enjoy being involved in their lives and seeing them actively exploring new opportunities in their home and neighborhoods. You'll need to have humor, warmth, good energy and the initiative to organize things that make life fun for these fabulous young people. They communicate in a variety of ways; gestures, some words, vocalizations, facial expressions, and some communication devices and tools. A key skill is being intuitive and patient, so you can really tune in to what's going on for each person and respond to them. This is very much about making this new house into their home for this next phase of their life after leaving their family home. With your help, these wonderful people will continue to lead good lives, enjoying and exploring whatever their neighborhoods has to offer and keeping connected with their whanau and friends. As the flatmates have physical support needs, your role as a support worker will include intimate care like helping to go to the toilet and have showers. You will need to be respectful and intuitive as you do this and be vigilant to their physical health and emotional comfort, giving them as much voice, choice and control as possible. You’ll need to be fit enough to push a wheelchair and willing to get in the swimming pool to enjoy some fun water play. As this is a new team, we have several opportunities covering days, evenings, weekends and wake over shifts. You need to be reliable, punctual, and ready to commit to this role.
