About the role: CARTERS?Kaiwharawhara has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative/Class 2 Driver to join their busy Yard team. This versatile role involves operating a Class 2 to deliver building materials to construction sites and providing support in the yard - picking and packing orders, and operating a forklift to load product onto delivery trucks.? The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and pride themselves on exceptional service and delivery to our customers in a timely, professional, and safe manner. With your high energy and can-do attitude, you?can expect to: * Drive a Class 2 truck * Load and unload building materials either with a forklift or manual handling * Carry?out customer deliveries efficiently and on time and in accordance with health and safety regulations. * Pick and assemble customer orders.? * Process sales documentation?? * Provide exceptional customer service to all customers on and off site. About you The ideal candidate will have a commitment to outstanding customer service and support and have the following skills and qualities: * Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence with a minimum Class 2 Truck Licence * Forklift Licence (F Endorsed is a bonus) * A team player with the right attitude. * A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers. * Basic computer skills? * Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry. * Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling * Building industry knowledge?is advantageous.?
