Due to growth they're looking for a Project Manager with a background in fire sprinklers to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is one of the largest fire protection companies in New Zealand. Key responsibilities include: * Adhering to health and safety standards * Maintaining quality assurance and ISO management system * Supervision of subcontractors and staff * Procurement of materials * Organising and managing sprinkler installations * Oversee planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery * Mentoring junior Project Managers/team members To be successful you will have: * Pervious track record as a project manager with fire sprinkler experience * Full, clean drivers licence * Sound knowledge in fire protection systems and New Zealand standards * Good communication skills * Relevant construction qualification * 5+ years experience as a Project Manager with sprinkler experience In return, our client offers a competitive salary, a large scope of work, awesome commercial construction projects to work on and a supportive team. What we are looking for: * Qualifications in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * High levels of emotional intelligence. * Proven successful experience in a senior leadership or managerial role, preferably in the infrastructure/electrical industry. * Highly professional with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. * Comfortable communicating at Board and Executive level in a sales environment. * Relationship builder. * A track record of successful business growth through sales, business development including bids and tenders. * Commercial acumen including ability to manage and develop P&L and Board reporting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business software.
