




We are seeking a MEWP Dispatcher to coordinate the delivery of machinery and access equipment within the Hawkes Bay region. This position will be based out of our Whakatu yard, reporting to the Managing Director, and will be responsible for customer service and business development. In this role you will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching our fleet of MEWPs, forklifts, transporters and water tankers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. It is essential that you are someone who can think on their feet, adapt to ever changing priorities, and maintain strong communication with both clients and drivers. You will play a key part in managing day-to-day branch operations while developing strong relationships with local contractors and customers. Your responsibilities will include handling hire contracts, coordinating fleet availability, and identifying opportunities to grow market share through exceptional customer service and proactive sales calls. Full training for this role will be provided Duties • Handle all on-line and telephone enquiries and orders to ensure equipment is supplied accurately and on time. • Liaise with drivers and the mechanical team to ensure that equipment is available, maintained, and ready for delivery. • Manage the end-to-end hire process - including creating and updating hires, off-hires, and transfers. • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, local contractors, and project managers to maximise utilisation and revenue opportunities. • Organise for site visits and client meetings to promote the fleet and ensure customer satisfaction. • Work closely with the Managing Director to identify local opportunities and support regional initiatives. Skills Required • Background in heavy equipment, rental, construction, or related service industries (preferred). • Strong computer literacy and data entry skills. • Ability to allocate fleet in efficient manner • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships. • Good geographical knowledge of Hawkes Bay. • Good understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements • Excellent organisational skills. • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a small team. • Sound command of the English language and professional presentation.
