




About the Role: Northpower is seeking a Delivery Manager Reactive to lead the delivery of Reactive Maintenance, Defects, Customer Works, Faults, Auxiliary Services and Capital Works across the Central East region. You'll be based at either our Palmerston North or Masterton depot, with travel required between both locations each week. Role Responsibilities: As a key leader within our contracting business, you will: -Ensure the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of all reactive and maintenance work streams. -Drive strong operational performance, meeting (and where possible, exceeding) all customer, regulatory and contractual requirements. -Lead, coach and support a team of Project Managers and Supervisors, fostering a culture of communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. -Oversee financial performance, monitor budgets, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting. -Work closely with clients, suppliers, local authorities and internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and seamless project delivery. -Support the effective allocation of resources, materials, and work scheduling to maximise productivity. -Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and environmental standards, while maintaining Northpower's strong reputation within the region. Experience: We're looking for someone who can lead from the front and bring out the best in their team. You will ideally have: -Experience managing multi-skilled teams within a contracting, utilities, or infrastructure environment. -Strong knowledge of HV distribution and zone substations, alongside an understanding of design, pricing and job management fundamentals. -Proven experience with performance-based contracts, resource planning, and project delivery. -Commercial acumen with the ability to monitor, manage, and report on financial performance. -Confident communication, sound decision-making skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships. -Competency with computer systems and internal job management tools. -A relevant qualification, such as National Certificate in Business (First Line Management) Level 4 or equivalent (preferred).
