The business works within seasonal production for international markets and offers a role that blends office management with occasional practical support on-site. This is not your typical corporate office position—you’ll be based on-site in a practical, farm-adjacent setting. If you enjoy a mix of administration and hands-on involvement, this could be the perfect fit. As the Office & Operations Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day administrative functions while supporting operational activities during peak periods. This is a varied and dynamic role where your ability to switch between office work and practical tasks will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate financial records and oversee general accounts. • Coordinate staff scheduling and workforce planning. • Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and conducting interviews. • Communicate with suppliers, staff, and contractors. • Oversee company vehicles and ensure compliance with internal policies. • Lead and support projects that contribute to smooth operations. • Provide general administrative support and maintain office efficiency. • Assist with practical, on-site tasks during busy seasons (e.g., transporting staff, light outdoor work, or supporting seasonal production activities). Who We’re Looking For: • Self-organised, reliable, and proactive individual who enjoys a non-traditional office setting. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Confident with IT systems and software (e.g., Excel, Word, Teams). • Able to stay composed under pressure and work well within a small team. • Physically fit enough for occasional light manual tasks or outdoor activity. • Adaptable, positive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Preferred (but not essential): • Experience with accounts or data analysis. • Advanced IT capability. • Understanding of agriculture or seasonal production industries.
