Reid Engineering Limited are seeking a full time permanent experienced welder/fabricator for our busy workshop. Reid Engineering Limited is the licensee for Trout River New Zealand. We build live bottom trucks, trailers and attachments to a high standard. We also do a wide range of general engineering for the heavy transport industry. The ideal candidate will be able to offer the following: * Proven experience as a heavy fabricator/welder in a manufacturing setting would be ideal. * Good knowledge of using fabrication tools and equipment. * Ability to understand and read engineering drawings and blue prints. * Mathematical competence and the ability to understand dimensions. * Strong attention to detail and exceptional workmanship at all times. * Must be able to follow instructions and work independently. * Good safety behavior * Excellent problem solver. * Pay rate between $35 -$45 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications and experience. Must be able to work in New Zealand.
