The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Timber Structure Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for either:
• An experienced estimator who wants to continue developing their technical skills, or
• A qualified or ex-builder looking for a change of pace and a long-term career off the tools, or
• A trainee with a solid understanding of construction who wants to stay in the industry without battling the weather every day.

Key Responsibilities
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to prepare accurate quotations for timber frames, trusses, and floor systems.
• Use specialist MiTek software to produce material estimates and layouts.
• Work closely with builders, designers, and our production team to clarify details and ensure jobs are correctly specified.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency across all work.
• Support continuous improvement across estimating and manufacturing processes.
About You
You might be an experienced estimator, or a builder looking for a new challenge — either way, you’ll bring:
• A solid understanding of building and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in getting things right.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with estimating or design software (MiTek, Pryda, Multinail) is an advantage, but training will be provided for the right person.
