Our Timaru production facility is New Zealand’s largest pork specialist abattoir and butchery operation. Our dedicated team of over 65 staff process around 4,000 pigs per week that come from farms throughout North Otago and Canterbury. About the role: Reporting to the General Manager of National Production, and together with the Production Manager and a team of Supervisors you will manage the site through planning and direction to ensure day-to-day production activities are carried out in an efficient, safe and fully compliant manner. You’ll oversee all aspects of the processing plant including supply chain management, animal welfare, slaughter and boning operations, and our plant maintenance program.
