STMS - Timaru **We're recruiting for a nationally recognised civil and infrastructure company with a strong footprint in water network maintenance.** This role is suited to someone with proven experience in traffic management and a current STMS qualification. You'll be part of a supportive team, ensuring safe and compliant work zones across varied sites in Timaru. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and implement traffic management plans across active work sites. * Conduct site assessments to identify risks and ensure safety for crews and the public * Set out, monitor, and adjust temporary traffic control measures in line with the NZTA Code of Practice. * Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and internal teams to manage traffic-related logistics * Uphold high standards of health and safety, reporting hazards and near misses promptly * Support operational efficiency by anticipating traffic-related challenges and resolving them proactively What You'll Need: * Current STMS qualification * Class 1 licence minimum (Class 2 preferred) * 2+ years' proven experience in traffic management * Strong working knowledge of health and safety protocols * Ability to work collaboratively in a field-based team environment If you're ready to step into a role with long-term potential and real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
