**Tō tūranga hou | Your new role:**
*
Install, repair, and maintain network assets such as water mains, service pipes, valves, hydrants, manholes, and drainage systems
*
Respond promptly to call‑outs and service requests across water, wastewater, and stormwater networks.
*
Provide full job assessments including photos/videos and assist with planning repair or maintenance work.
*
Diagnose faults accurately using tools, inspections, flushing, rodding, and CCTV support.
*
Carry out operational tasks such as trenching, reinstatement, flushing, unblocking, shutdowns, and water quality management.
*
Operate high‑pressure cleaners, excavators, compactors, and loaders.
*
Participate in after‑hours/on‑call rosters and support both water and wastewater networks as required.

**Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed:**
*
2+ years in construction, civil works, drainage, roading or landscaping
*
Full class 1 license
*
Clean criminal history
*
Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
*
High health and safety standards
*
Must be happy working in all weather conditions
*
Must have full NZ Work Rights (no sponsorship available).
*
Must live within a 30 minute drive from Thames, Tairua or Whangamata

$28 - $33 per hour (depending on experience)

Full training provided
