Long Term opportunities available on some exciting projects. Duties include: • Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment. • Prepare work sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding. • Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials. • Assist carpenters, bricklayers, concreters, and other tradespeople. • Clean and maintain construction tools, machinery, and equipment. • Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, barricades, and ramps. • Operate basic power tools and construction machinery under supervision. • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and site instructions. • Assist in measuring, marking, and layout of construction materials. • Carry out general site clean-up duties during and after construction work. Competitive Rates Hours: Min 30 hours Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work Pay rates: $25-30 an hour Requirements: - Two years' experience or level 4 Qualification or any degree - Good understanding and ability to adhere to H&S standards - Ideally previous experience working on a construction site - Must pass a pre-employment drug screen - Reliable and punctual - Good communicator who shows initiative All applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to pass drug testing and MOJ background check
