The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply systems including water mains, service pipes, valves, hydrants, and meters. This role involves working outdoors and collaborating with construction and maintenance crews to ensure safe and efficient water services. Key Responsibilities * Install, repair, and maintain water mains, service pipes, valves, hydrants, and fittings * Connect water services from main supply lines to residential and commercial properties * Install and replace water meters * Locate underground utilities prior to excavation * Repair leaks, bursts, and damaged pipelines * Operate hand tools and machinery related to pipe installation and maintenance * Read and interpret plans, maps, and technical drawings * Follow health and safety procedures and industry standards Requirements * Experience in water reticulation, plumbing, or civil construction preferred * Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions * Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Valid driver's licence Desirable Qualifications * Trade qualification in plumbing, water reticulation, or related field * Confined space training * First aid certification What We Offer * Competitive pay based on experience * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Supportive team environment
