As a Machine Operator, you'll play a key part in delivering large-scale civil projects at various sites across the Wellington region. From operating machinery on roading, trenching, and drainage work to supporting the wider crew on-site, no two days will be the same. **What you'll be doing:**
* Operating a range of heavy machinery on civil sites (excavators, loaders, rollers, etc.)
* Supporting projects such as roading, drainage, trenching, and site development
* Carrying out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
* Working closely with site crews to ensure projects run smoothly and safely
* Following all health and safety procedures in busy environments

What we're looking for:**
* WTR endorsements with Class 2-5 licence
* Proven machine operating experience (multi-skilled or specialised)
* ConstructSafe or Site Safe certification
* Strong commitment to health and safety
* Good mechanical awareness and care for equipment
* Clear communication skills and reliability
