Ongoing work for the right candidate We are seeking an experienced Kerb Machine Operator to join a growing civil construction team delivering road and infrastructure projects. This role involves operating specialised kerb-forming machinery to install high-quality concrete kerbing across a range of civil works projects. Working alongside an experienced crew, you will play a key role in ensuring kerbing is installed accurately, efficiently, and to engineering specifications. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities * Operate kerb forming machines to install concrete kerbing to required specifications * Set up and adjust machinery to achieve correct kerb profiles, alignment, and dimensions * Monitor concrete flow, extrusion speed, and machine performance during operation * Guide machinery along surveyed lines while maintaining correct grade, level, and slope * Assist with site preparation including subgrade preparation and reinforcement placement * Inspect finished kerbing to ensure quality and consistency * Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance * Work closely with supervisors and crew members to ensure smooth project delivery * Follow all health and safety procedures, particularly when working near active roadways About You * Previous experience operating kerb machines, slipform machines, or similar civil equipment * Background in civil construction, roadworks, or concrete works preferred * Ability to read plans, grade stakes, and follow project specifications * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship *Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team environment * Full driver’s licence preferred What’s on Offer * Opportunity to work on major infrastructure and civil projects * Supportive team environment * Ongoing work for the right candidate * Competitive pay based on experience If you have experience in civil construction and kerb machine operation and are looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
