I am reluctantly selling my rare beast, 1 of only 2 Pinarello Radius road bikes in NZ. Fully restored and built up exactly as seen in the 1997 Pinarello catalogue, equiped with Campagnolo Record Titanium 9 speed groupset and the stunning NOS Campagnolo Shamal 12-HPW. The Pinarello Radius frames were developed and built in collaboration with the legendary Dario Pegoretti himself. Build quality was of number one importance. At the time, the Radius was the top of the range frame from Pinarello. The Radius was the successor to the Dyna, which Dario built for the 5-time TDF winner Michael Indurain and the Radius was also ridden by Mario Cipollini in TDF. The Radius frame set cost $4,695 USD alone in 1997!
