We are seeking experienced and dedicated Practicing Traffic Controllers to join our team at our Tauranga Branch As a Practicing Traffic Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction sites, facilitating the smooth flow of traffic in accordance with established guidelines. POSITION: Practicing Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS), Full-time LOCATION: Tauranga RESPONSIBILITIES: • Implement and manage traffic control plans on construction sites. • Direct and guide vehicular and pedestrian traffic to ensure safety. • Set up and dismantle traffic control equipment as required. • Communicate effectively with team members and drivers. • Adhere to health and safety procedures and regulations. • Be in full control of sites including your team QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • Energetic and hardworking with a Positive 'can do' attitude. • Minimum qualification of Practicing STMS. • Valid Traffic Control Certification & Proven experience as a Traffic Controller. • Hold a valid driver's license, preferably class 2. • Ability to thrive in a close-knit team environment. • Commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety. • Strong understanding of traffic management principles. • Excellent communication skills (including on radios). • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a construction setting. • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and environments. • Reliability and punctuality are essential. • Be drug free, and able to pass a drug-test (pre-and during employment) BENEFITS: • Competitive salary. • Opportunities for professional development. • Collaborative and supportive team environment.
