Auto Distributors New Zealand (ADNZ), the official importer of Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Smart and LEAPMOTOR, is expanding its team. We're seeking a Technical Field Engineer to support our dealer network in this newly created national role, working hands-on with some of the most innovative automotive brands in the market.

As Technical Field Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for guiding and coaching dealership technicians through complex diagnosis and repair. You'll use your technical know-how to provide solutions quickly, liaise with factory engineers, and deliver high-quality technical training.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing remote and in-person support for dealer technicians
* Reviewing technical cases, escalating through factory platforms, and creating solutions
* Communicating updated technical information and best practices
* Supporting the homologation and certification process for new models
* Developing and delivering technical and product training
* Managing training tools, calendars, and special service tool registers
* Monitoring and reporting on technical performance and KPIs
About You
* Strong technical knowledge in automotive diagnosis and repair
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Experience supporting technicians or working in a technical advisory role
* Confident in delivering training and presentations
* Proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
* Full, clean NZ driver's licence and eligibility to work in NZ
