Supportive, close-knit team environment Marquee Installer (Full-Time 42.5 - 55 hours per week) About X-Site Group X-Site Group is New Zealand’s largest privately owned marquee and hire company. We deliver marquee solutions for major events, shows, concerts, and sporting fixtures across the country. The Role We’re seeking a full-time Marquee Installer based in Hamilton to join our team for another busy season. You’ll travel nationwide to set up and dismantle marquees for a variety of high-profile events. Some weekend and overnight stays are required during peak event periods. Key Responsibilities • Transport, install, and dismantle marquees safely and efficiently • Collaborate with your team to meet tight setup schedules • Use basic tools to assemble and secure marquee structures • Maintain and inspect equipment before and after each job • Follow all health and safety protocols on site What You Bring • Some practical experience (or eagerness to learn) in marquee installation and dismantling • Strong hands-on skills and a “can do” attitude • Physical fitness to handle light to heavy manual labour • Confidence with basic tools and rigging techniques • Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2, 4, 5 or F endorsement preferred) and reliable transport • Excellent teamwork and communication skills • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa What We Offer • Competitive pay, with premium rates for experienced installers • Ongoing training and certifications in marquee installation, rigging, and event safety • Opportunity to work on New Zealand’s largest events and venues • A supportive, close-knit team environment How to Apply If you’re fit, reliable, and love working outdoors while travelling New Zealand’s event scene, we want to hear from you.
