Contribute to high hygiene, safety, and quality standards A bit about your role As our Nutritional Plant Operator within Westland Milk Products’ modern Nutrition Plant (D7), you will play a key role in producing high quality nutritional formulations that reach customers around the world. Your day-to-day work will involve operating advanced dairy processing equipment such as evaporators, dryers, and wet mix systems, while managing a highly automated and quality-focused environment. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with the preparation, mixing, and manufacture of nutritional products; ensuring accurate ingredient traceability; managing sampling and testing; and helping optimise plant performance to achieve yield targets. You’ll also be working within the frameworks of FSSC, EMS, RMP and GMP, and contributing to the high hygiene, safety and quality standards that Westland is known for. This position is based in Hokitika and operates on a 12.25 hour rotating shift roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off). A bit about you You are someone who brings proven experience working in a nutritional dairy plant or similar production environment, and you feel confident navigating automated manufacturing systems. You enjoy understanding how equipment works, spotting issues early, and contributing to continuous improvement.
