Work safely in a busy industrial environment PERSOL is seeking experienced **CNC Laser / Plasma Machine Operators** for opportunities within steel, metal processing, and industrial manufacturing environments. This role would suit someone with hands-on experience operating **CNC laser, plasma, or profile cutting machinery**, ideally with exposure to **steel plate processing, gantry cranes, forklifts, and quality checking**. About the Role You may be involved in: * Operating CNC laser and/or plasma cutting machines * Loading, unloading, and processing steel or metal products * Using overhead gantry cranes and forklifts * Monitoring machine performance and cut quality * Reading job sheets, measurements, or production specs * Labelling, sorting, and preparing finished parts * Supporting basic machine maintenance and clean-downs * Working safely in a busy industrial environment What We're Looking For * CNC laser, plasma, profile cutting, or metal processing experience * Steel, fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing background * Gantry crane and/or forklift experience preferred * Strong attention to detail and quality * Good mechanical aptitude * Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work unsupervised * Physically fit and comfortable handling industrial materials Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
