Summary: Seeking experienced and physically capable commercial brick and block layers for a major project, responsible for laying bricks and blocks, reading plans, and maintaining a clean worksite. Accommodation provided to successful applicants EXPERIENCED BRICK & BLOCK LAYERS We are looking for fit and strong commercial brick and block layers for an upcoming major project. Location: Hastings, NZStart Date: Beginning of May 2026Duration: Approx. 4 weeks, projected to finish end of May 2026Pay rates: Dependent on your experience$35 - $40ph (wages)$40 - $50ph (contractor) Duties: * Laying brick and concrete blocks * Reading and working from plans * Mixing mortar and preparing materials * Ensuring work is level, straight and finished neatly * Keeping the worksite clean and safe Days & Hours: * Monday to Friday - must be available to work Saturdays too * 8 to 12-hour work days so must be flexible with start and finish times Successful Applicants must: * Have proven experience and be able to provide references * Have relevant qualifications (favourable) * Commit to the full duration of the project * Pass a pre-employment drug test * Return a clean criminal background check If you are interested, please apply online with your current CV.
