We have projects in Wellington, Auckland, Manawatū, and the Bay of Plenty. About the Role: We are looking for highly skilled and experienced carpenters to join our locally based Tauranga team. As an LTM carpenter your primary role will be carrying out general carpentry, concrete and formworks, including restoration, renovation and new building commercial carpentry works. You will optimise the use of company resources and contribute to the successful completion of our contracts. You are responsible for: You will have a minimum of 5 years’ building and construction experience and relevant trade qualification. You will have the following requirements: * A genuine interest in Health & Safety along with natural interpersonal skills and motivation to provide excellent workmanship * Excellent building skills, with thorough knowledge of building methods and materials * Skill interpreting drawings and architectural plans * Has previous experience and competency in training apprentices * Extensive knowledge of NZS 3604 * Have a comprehensive understanding of the NZ building codes * The ability to properly use and maintain tools * An understanding of building and safety regulations * Willing to be an integral part of our valued carpentry team * Clear police record * Physically and medically fit  Benefits of working with LT McGuinness: * Work for a well-established and trusted company * Landmark and ongoing projects * Family business, with positive and supportive work culture * Safe and enjoyable sites * Opportunity to grow and develop within the company * Competitive wages * Active social club
