Freeman Roofing Tauranga is looking for a customer service superstar as a Key Accounts Manager for 12 months covering parental leave. You’ll work alongside our branch manager to establish and grow effective relationships with new customers, while maintaining relationships with our existing customer base. As a key customer facing staff member, you will be an ambassador for Freeman Roofing and our values: Safety, Integrity, Family, Respect, Ownership, Transparency and Leading by example. Equipped with a company vehicle, laptop and cell phone, you’ll balance getting out and about to meet new and existing customers with your office-based tasks which support the wider branch. You’ll have experience developing and implementing sales strategies to generate sales leads, be comfortable cold calling potential customers, following up on quoted jobs and representing us at breakfasts, expos and meetings. While this vacancy is fixed term to cover parental leave at the moment, permanent work may become available over the time you are working for Freeman Roofing. What this role entails: * Being the connection between key customers and our Tauranga factory team. * Building and implementing new sales strategies in conjunction with the branch manager. * Building strong and effective relationships with key customers. * Developing and maintaining industry knowledge to support customer enquiries. * Inputting customer orders. * Providing basic quantity surveying services and generating quotes for key customers. What you’ll bring to the team: * Experience in accounts relationship management, customer service and sales. * Roofing or construction knowledge. * Skills building and maintaining effective relationships. * A great communicator - able to explain ideas simply and clearly, listen carefully to others, and confident to share ideas with others. * A demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands in limited timeframes. * A clean, full New Zealand Driver licence.
