We have an awesome opportunity for someone keen to start a plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying apprenticeship in 2025 with a well-respected master Plumber host company based in Taupo. This is an opportunity to join a small and supportive team that focuses on residential new builds and maintenance work. Whether you’re already based in Taupo or considering a move, this could be the opportunity you’re looking for. About the role: As an apprentice, you’ll get stuck in and learn on the tools from day one. The job includes: * Residential maintenance and installs * Light commercial work * Installing and fixing pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems * You’ll be earning while you’re learning, working towards your plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying qualifications over the next 4–5 years. Who we’re looking for: We’re after someone with a bit of life experience and a solid work ethic. Maybe you’ve worked in another trade or hands on job before, or just enjoy practical work and figuring things out. Most of all, we want someone who’s reliable, ready to learn, and committed for the long haul. You’ll need: * Some kind of practical or hands on experience (desirable) * At least a restricted driver’s licence * Be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment medical * NZ citizenship or residency Why Masterlink?
