We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Apprentice - Mechanical Engineering (fixed-term) to join the team. Get ready for plenty of variety and hands-on opportunities. As an Apprentice, we don't expect you to nail it first time - or every time for that matter. Instead, we focus on the journey of learning and building skills and confidence in a safe environment where you're encouraged and supported to grow. What you'll be doing: * Carrying out preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure safety and compliance. * Diagnosing issues with mechanical equipment and processes. * Helping to maintain plant and equipment reliability across the site. * Supporting the wider engineering team as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. What we're looking for: * Ideally, NCEA Level 2 or equivalent. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Confidence using computers and basic software tools. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
