Positions are full-time and permanent, with site location based on project demand Key Responsibilities: * Tasks required of you that is within your skills and capabilities that is necessary for the business of the company. * Comply with all aspects of any contract, project or task and deliver customer services that meets or exceed the expectation of the customer or the Extrastaff business. * Erect Scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level. * Creating structures, forms or chutes and pouring concrete. * Cover subfloors with building paper to keep out moisture and lay hardwood, parquet, or wood-strip-block floors by nailing floors to subfloor or cementing them to mastic or asphalt base. * Fill cracks or other defects in plaster or plasterboard and sand patch, using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tool. * Position and secure steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms, using fasteners, rod-bending machines, blowtorches, or hand tools. * General labouring cleaning construction sites as required by managers * Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites. * All other duties as assigned. We are looking to employ several skilled installers to work alongside our experienced trades teams. These roles require reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious individuals. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include: * Read drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and installation procedures * Select, clean, and prepare aluminium materials for each job, with a sound understanding of different sheet metal types * Shape and bend aluminium sections using appropriate tools and machinery * Align and join components accurately using the correct mechanical fixings, bolts, and rivets * Ensure cost-effective use of materials and follow standard procedures for manufacturing and installation * Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality * Maintain tidy and safe work areas in line with OSH housekeeping standards * Carry out other duties as requested by supervisors You'll be expected to work with precision, communicate clearly with your supervisor, and take ownership of your responsibilities. A commitment to completing work to a high standard within timeframes, and actively contributing to a team environment, is essential. Minimum Experience Required: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as an aluminium fabricator or installer or hold a trade qualification or higher.
