




Summary: Energyworks is seeking a Quality Control professional to oversee coordination and execution of functions, develop welding procedures, and manage statutory relationships. Highlights: 1. Liaise with Statutory & Inspection agencies Energyworks is a New Zealand owned and operated engineering company specialising in the fabrication, testing and installation of pressure piping and equipment, pipeline construction and mechanical maintenance in the primary industrial sector. Energyworks is currently involved in some exciting projects and wish to enhance the service delivery proposition to a range of well-established industrial sector clients. As such, we are looking to build project delivery capacity within our New Plymouth based team. Applicants must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and have a skill set aligned to the following criteria: • Oversee employees who are directly responsible for the co-ordination and execution of various Quality Control functions. • Liaise with supervisors, project managers and support them in the daily allocation of Quality Control work. • Be the primary focal for the development and implementation of welding procedures and qualifications. • Liaise & oversee relationships with Statutory & Inspection agencies. • Review, complete and compile client inspection and quality documentation. • Assist with compilation of Quality Plans/ITP’s prior to Project start as required. • Review and verify QA packages as required. • Have a sound knowledge of relevant codes and regulations, specifically PEPCR, the suite of ASME codes and AS/NZS2885. • Mature understanding of QHSE best practices.
