Work with Rockwell, Omron PLCs, FactoryTalk HMI, and Ignition SCADA Join our team at ANZCO Foods Waitara in this full-time, permanent role reporting to the Engineering Manager. You'll be the go-to expert for low-voltage electrical, control and automation systems across our production floor, ensuring smooth operation of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and refrigeration controls. You'll also coordinate external contractors to maintain safety, quality and uptime targets. Duties and Responsibilities will include: * Carry out inspections, testing and preventive maintenance on panels, cabling and switchgear * Troubleshoot using electrical schematics, control drawings and P&IDs * Program, design and commission PLCs (Rockwell Studio 5000, Omron CX-One) * Configure and maintain HMIs (FactoryTalk) and Ignition SCADA * Monitor critical control equipment and support engineering projects * Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with site safety, hygiene and food standards Skills and Experience we are looking for: * 3-5 years' experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing * Proven skills in Rockwell and Omron PLCs, plus FactoryTalk HMI systems * Strong knowledge of VFD drives (e.g., Allen-Bradley Powerflex, Danfoss) and refrigeration controls * Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and control schematics * Experience managing contractors and enforcing compliance We deliver taste, nutrition, and wellbeing to the world with products made from New Zealand finest beef and lamb.
