Chance to learn and take on new challenges Roofquip Ltd is a leading manufacturer and distributor of ventilation and roofing products which we supply throughout New Zealand. We are seeking a motivated person to join us, to help in the workshop with assembling of Ventilation products using hand tools and rivet machines and to help with the processing of orders and dispatching of goods. This will be a permanent position with a 3 month trial period. We also carry out electrical services throughout the Marlborough area which you will also be required to help out with. Please see https://roofquip.co.nz/ & https://actionelectrix.co.nz/ A successful applicant will require the following Skills and Qualifications * High School NCEA levels 1, 2 & 3 or higher * Full Clean NZ Drivers Licence * Be a New Zealand citizen * Physically fit and able to complete an 8 hour work day / 40 hour work week / Monday to Friday * Able to work with their hands and be able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively * Good organizational (keeping tidy) and coordination skills * Be able to handle and organize tools, materials, and equipment needed. * Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Strong work ethic to meet deadlines and to ensure timely dispatch of customer orders * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to follow instructions * Able to follow Health & Safety protocols at all times. * Be able to Work unsupervised. * Be able to drive a forklift or willing to learn * Willingness to learn and be able to take on new challenges * Good hourly rate - To be discussed * A good sense of humour.
