Committed to a safe working environment and quality excellence ANZCO Foods Waitara (ANZCO Prepared Foods), based at 1 Stafford Street Waitara have a number of fulltime permanent positions available offering at least 30 hours per week. Whilst experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred, it is not essential as full training will be provided. These positions will involve a mixture of production, stores and cleaning duties. The roles report to our Shift Supervisor and are full-time. The hours of these positions are Monday - Friday 40 hours per week. These positions will be paid a minimum of $718.50 per week and over time rates and shift allowances will also be available. Key Activities will include: * Complete tasks as instructed * Complete process control/run as required * Ensure product meets all quality requirements as per recipe. * Quality assurance ensuring regulatory and customer standards are met * Cleaning duties as required * Remove cartons from stillages and sort into separate pallets for each product. * Ensure pallets going to freezer are scanned correctly * Brand (mark) cartons for export loadouts, making sure brands are corresponding with shipping instruction * Check loads for damaged product, make sure damaged product is removed and scanned to the damaged carton area * Take all practicable steps to ensure Health and Safety requirements are met and exceeded within your working environment to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Qualifications and Previous Experience * Experience in a similar position would be an advantage * Understanding of food safety and compliance requirements * Food processing experience and especially experience in FMCG meat processing In this role you will be working as part of a team in a well-established company in Waitara that produce meat and associated products for the New Zealand and the Export market.
