Contribute to a renowned workshop's quality and expertise Taylor Automotive Ltd is a long established company looking for a highly skilled and motivated person to join our service team in Grafton, Auckland. The ideal candidate would be an exceptional General Mechanic with experience in a wide variety of work including repairs, servicing, tyre fitment, diagnostics, and preferably be able to carry out Warrant of Fitness inspections. The job would also include the removal and refitting of engines to vehicles after being reconditioned in our reconditioning workshop. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality and expertise that our workshop is renowned for. Job requirements: * Able to work on all makes and models, including European vehicles * Strong understanding of engine systems * Current WOF inspection certificate an advantage, but not necessary * Fluent in both spoken and written English * Proven experience as a General Mechanic * Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * A valid driver's license * Clear written documentation and communication skills * Must be a NZ resident or have a valid work visa * Competitive remuneration based on experience
