Our client is a well-known family-owned food distribution business searching for a Storeman/Delivery Driver to join their friendly team. About the role You will deliver crates of food items to cafes, restaurants, and retirement villages around Christchurch. This position is face-to-face with a variety of customers so being well-presented & friendly is a must. Key Responsibilities * Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks * General warehouse duties, including picking and packing * Freezer work as required * Local deliveries around Christchurch * Supporting day-to-day warehouse operations as needed The position is Tuesday - Saturday working between the hours of 5am-3pm + every second or third Monday as required. The starting pay rate for this position is: $26.00p/h + 8% Holiday Pay. The Successful Candidate will: * Have a Full Class 1 clean licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle * Current forklift licence with proven experience (OSH) * Physically fit, with the ability to handle regular manual lifting * Strong multitasking ability and comfort moving between warehouse, forklift, and driving duties * Have good knowledge of the Christchurch area * Be trustworthy and have great customer service If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please apply online today.
