Work with well-known logistics companies * Competitive hourly rates | $33 - $39.05 depending on role * Monday-Friday + Some Weekends * Two Roles Available | Avonhead and Islington based Trade Assist are looking for experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our Christchurch team ASAP! We currently have two roles available with different clients, so whether you're after line haul or metro work - we've got options. What's on offer: * Competitive hourly rates ($33 - $39.05 depending on role) * Weekly pay * Monday-Friday work + some Saturdays (role dependent) Role 1 - Line Haul Driver (Avonhead Based) * $39.05 per hour * Morning shifts: 1:00am - 5:00am starts * Line haul deliveries across the South Island * 1-3 overnight stays per week (allowance + accommodation provided) * Loading & unloading truck & trailer Role 2 - Metro Driver (Islington Based) * $33 per hour * 7:00am - 4:00pm shifts * Metro deliveries only (Christchurch-based) * Short-term assignment (a few weeks) * 24th April Start date * Some heavy lifting involved What you'll be doing: * Driving Class 5 truck & trailer safely * Completing deliveries and dealing with customers * Loading & unloading freight * Working within a supportive team environment What you need: * Full Class 5 Licence (minimum 18 months experience) * Confident reversing truck & trailer * Physically fit (lifting 15-25kg) * Reliable and flexible * OSH advantageous * Knowledge of Christchurch & Canterbury is a bonus Why work with Trade Assist? * Great pay + allowances * Supportive team culture * Work with well-known logistics companies Apply now or call 0800 999 599 to chat with the team today!
