Collaborate with clients, installers, and project managers We are seeking a detail-oriented Stone Template Measuring Technician to accurately measure and create templates for custom stone surfaces, including countertops, vanities, and other architectural features. This role is critical in ensuring precise fabrication and installation of stone products such as granite, quartz, marble, and other solid surfaces Key Responsibilities • Visit job sites to take precise measurements of spaces for stone installations • Create physical or digital templates using industry-standard tools and software • Communicate measurements and specifications clearly to fabrication teams • Identify and document site conditions, including irregularities or potential installation challenges • Coordinate with clients, installers, and project managers to confirm design details and expectations • Ensure all measurements meet quality and safety standards • Maintain accurate records of templates, measurements, and project notes • Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and provide solutions Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings • Proficiency with measuring tools (laser measurers, tape measures) • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites Preferred Skills but not essential • Experience with digital templating software (e.g., LT-2D3D, Proliner, or similar systems) • Proven experience in templating, carpentry, construction, or stone fabrication (preferred) • Knowledge of stone materials and fabrication processes • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
