Friendly, experienced workshop team We're looking for an experienced Machinist or Fitter/Machinist who still enjoys coming to work each day, solving engineering challenges, and taking pride in producing quality workmanship. Not everyone wants to retire. Some engineers simply enjoy being in the workshop, working with good people, quality equipment, and passing on the tricks of the trade to the next generation. What's in it for you? * Permanent full-time position Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pm * Stable workload with long-term job security * Friendly, experienced workshop team * Opportunity to mentor and support junior engineers * Variety of machining work within a well-equipped workshop * $33-$34 per hour + Overtime after 40 paid at 1.5 The Role You'll be working within a busy engineering workshop manufacturing and machining components that support structural steel processing and steel products supplied to major construction and engineering projects across New Zealand. The workshop undertakes a wide variety of machining and general engineering work, meaning no two days are exactly the same. Whether your background is predominantly machining, fitting, or a combination of both, we'd love to hear from you.
