We are involved in a variety of disciplines, including Earthworks, Civil, Site Works, Utilities, Three Waters, Rural and other specialist trades. We are seeking a yard person to assist our busy Workshop team. The role is full-time, 45-50 hours per week and is based at our yard in Lakeside just east of Leeston. The ideal applicant would need to have a good attitude, be friendly, helpful and be able to work well with all members of our Workshop team. Your own transport is required. This is a broad role with a vast amount of variety. Your duties will involve but not be limited to: * Keeping the yard tidy when required. * General DIY, engineering & carpentry tasks. * Prepping machines for painting. * Assisting mechanics and engineers when required. * Moving plant & cleaning equipment. We are looking for someone that has the following skills and experience: * Full Class 1 driver’s licence with WTR endorsement, Classes 2-4 and Forklift would be preferable. * Basic carpentry skills * Mechanically minded * Experience with spray painting would be an advantage * Seeding and mowing skills * Physically fit and healthy * Reliable team player with a positive attitude * Strong work ethic and a focus on quality and attention to detail * Health, Safety and Environment focused Would suit somebody local to the area.
