As a Water Technician, you'll play a key role in the operation and maintenance of the drinking water network. You'll be responsible for responding to faults, carrying out repairs and upgrades, undertaking inspections, and ensuring essential water services remain safe and reliable for the community. Your responsibilities will include: - Diagnosing and responding to water network faults and emergencies - Repairing water mains, service connections, valves, hydrants, and meters - Undertaking inspections and preventative maintenance activities - Installing and upgrading water infrastructure including manifolds and valves - Operating plant and equipment such as excavators, pumps, trucks, and compactors - Working safely within road corridors and traffic-managed environments - Completing digital job records, reports, photos, and system updates - Liaising with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders - Participating in a shared on-call roster to support emergency response requirements We're looking for people who take ownership of their work, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in a team environment.
