Long-term opportunity with a stable, locally established company Operations Manager – Civil & Earthmoving North Rodney (Silverdale–Warkworth) We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in a full-time role. The Role: This position will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the business, working closely with the Managing Director while leading site crews and coordinating projects. Key responsibilities include: * Lead and coordinate daily site operations and workflow * Manage project timelines, budgets and quality control * Prepare job quotes and tenders * Communicate effectively with the Managing Director and site staff * Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members * Implement and oversee company health & safety policies and procedures * Operate plant and machinery when required (hands-on role) * Engage directly with clients and maintain strong relationships This role will typically involve around 50% time on the tools and 50% operational management, so practical industry experience is essential. Our small, experienced team specialises in a wide range of civil works including earthworks, retaining walls, drainage, culverts, bridges and driveway construction. We are a hands-on company, and this role reflects that. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations while also working alongside the team on site.
