We are committed to producing top quality stock and maintaining high standards of animal welfare, while providing a safe and supportive work environment for our staff. Currently, we are seeking a motivated, experienced shepherd to join our team. This position would suit someone who has: - The ability and desire to take on more responsibility, with a view to a Stock Management role in time - Initiative, dependability and a positive attitude to all work - Excellent stockmanship, organisational skills and attention to detail. - Commitment to high standards of quality, safety and animal well-being. - Initiative, problem solving and good communication skills are a must. - A reliable team of 3-4 working dogs. - Accurate record keeping skills and use of Cloud Farmer. - A current and full NZ driver's license We can offer you: Excellent accommodation, which is within walking distance to the primary school, kindergarten and community swimming pool.
