Oversee site-based teams and contractors for safe, high-quality activities Commissioning Lead We’re partnering with an organisation delivering a large-scale utility solar EPC project and are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead to manage the commissioning phase of this complex renewable energy development. About the role This role is critical to ensuring all electrical, mechanical, civil and SCADA systems are installed, tested and commissioned in line with contractual requirements, industry best practice, and local grid authority standards, before successful handover to the client. Key responsibilities: - Lead and deliver the full commissioning phase of large-scale solar EPC project, from planning through to client handover - Develop and manage commissioning programmes, including FAT, SAT, hold point testing and plant performance testing - Coordinate closely with the project, construction, engineering and grid authorities to ensure compliance and approvals - Oversee site-based teams and contractors, ensuring safe, high-quality commissioning activities - Manage system integration across electrical, mechanical and SCADA systems - Identify and resolve technical issues arising during commissioning - Ensure all testing, documentation and reporting meets contractual, safety and quality standards - Act as the primary client interface during the commissioning and handover phase About You You’ll be an experienced commissioning lead with strong technical knowledge and the ability to coordinate people, processes and systems to deliver safe, compliant project outcomes. You will ideally bring: - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline - Proven experience in commissioning management on large-scale utility or infrastructure projects - Strong knowledge of commissioning safety, quality and regulatory frameworks - Excellent leadership, coordination and stakeholder management skills If you're interested in learning more or believe you might be a good fit, please apply now!
