About the role
Prepare and deliver nutritious, well-presented meals that meet residents' needs and dietary requirements. You'll work closely with the kitchen and wider facility team to ensure safe, timely, and enjoyable meal services.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards
* Support special dietary needs with guidance from the dietitian
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness, stock, and equipment
* Work collaboratively to deliver smooth meal services

Skills & experience
You'll be successful if you bring:
* Experience preparing meals in a commercial or care setting
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
* Reliable, professional, and team-focused approach
* Respect for residents' cultural and personal needs
* Chef qualification, food safety certificate, or first aid (desirable)
* NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
