Residential Carpenter - Central Christchurch Experienced Residential Carpenter wanted for ongoing Christchurch projects with a supportive team and consistent work. Location: Christchurch Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $32–$36 per hour depending on experience What You’ll Be Doing - Residential new builds and renovations - Timber framing, cladding, and fit-out work - Reading and interpreting plans - Installing doors, windows, and finishing details - Working alongside site supervisors and other trades - Maintaining a safe and productive worksite What We’re Looking For - NZ Level 4 Carpentry Qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification) - Minimum 3+ years’ residential carpentry experience - Must be a qualified carpenter - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship - Must have your own hand and power tools - Reliable transport and valid driver licence - Site Safe preferred (or willingness to obtain) - Positive attitude and strong work ethic What’s In It For You - Competitive pay rate: $32–$36 per hour depending on experience - Ongoing work with reputable companies - Variety of residential projects across Christchurch - Supportive team environment - Opportunities for long-term work and career growth - PPE provided where required Why work with Tradestaff?
